Steve Latham

Steve Latham has over 20 years of leadership experience at the intersection of technology and retail. In 2013, he founded Canopy, a leading remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform focused on supporting retail hardware solutions, including kiosks, POS devices, and smart vending machines.

Before Canopy, Steve served as the CTO of NCR’s Entertainment division. There, he built and scaled the Blockbuster Express kiosk product, which Redbox later acquired for $125 million.

Under Steve’s leadership, Canopy now supports over 1 million devices worldwide, making it the top RMM platform in retail. Canopy has secured a spot on the Inc. 5,000 list four times over its 10-year history, recognized as one of the fastest-growing private tech firms, including this past year.
